GreenShift partner Unicorn Factory Lisboa is hosting the Opening Ceremony of the 7th edition of the European Startup Prize for Mobility, taking place at the Unicorn Stage in the Beato Innovation District in Lisbon on 14 April 2026 at 18:00 (WEST). Unicorn Factory Lisboa supports founders to start, scale, and go global, positioning Lisbon as one of Europe’s leading hubs for innovation and entrepreneurship.
The European Startup Prize for Mobility is Europe’s largest acceleration and investment-readiness programme dedicated to smart and clean mobility start-ups. The initiative brings together innovators, investors, industry leaders, and policymakers to support the development of new solutions addressing key challenges in transport, including decarbonisation, digitalisation, and sustainable urban mobility.
The opening ceremony will gather mobility and climate-tech start-ups, investors, corporates, policymakers, and innovation stakeholders working at the intersection of clean mobility, industrial strategy, and European competitiveness. As a high-level European mobility networking event, it reflects the type of innovation ecosystem in which GreenShift operates, where collaboration between industry, research, education, and public authorities is essential for advancing digital and sustainable transport solutions.
For GreenShift, initiatives such as the European Startup Prize for Mobility underline the importance of strong links between start-ups, industry, research, and education. The future of transport increasingly depends on the ability to apply advanced digital technologies to real-world challenges, and on developing the skills needed to accelerate innovation, improve system performance, and support the decarbonisation of mobility across Europe.
