Read moreEuropean transport faces a clear challenge. Cities, operators and logistics companies must cut emissions, manage congestion and adapt to climate impacts, yet they lack the right people with the right skills to apply modern solutions to these problems.
GreenShift helps close this gap by offering a flexible Master’s and micro-credential pathway that builds advanced AI and HPC skills for green mobility, embedded in real transport and mobility use cases across Europe. Through hands-on modules and projects, learners and organisations will learn to apply AI- and HPC-enabled solutions to real challenges such as decarbonisation, congestion and system optimisation in European transport systems.
GreenShift is built by a consortium of 14+ higher education institutions, technology companies, incubators and skills organisations from across Europe. Together they provide the teaching and applied use cases, along with connections to SMEs, companies and public sector mobility leaders.
Through GreenShift’s partnership development programme, additional organisations can engage as associated partners, contribute use cases and case studies, host talks or workshops, and support staff to take part in the Master’s and micro credentials.

If you are considering the Master’s, exploring micro-credentials for your team, or looking to collaborate as a company or public authority, we want to hear from you. Contact the GreenShift team and we will connect you with the right partner in our European network.
GreenShift is a European initiative developing a new Joint Master’s programme and flexible learning modules focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High-Performance Computing (HPC) for green digital innovation in the transport sector. The programme aims to help professionals and organisations build the advanced digital skills needed to design smarter, more efficient, and lower-emission transport systems.
GreenShift is developing a flexible learning pathway that will include a European Joint Master’s programme, standalone modules, and micro-credentials, together with hands-on activities such as bootcamps, hackathons, and industry training. The courses are designed around real transport and mobility challenges, helping learners apply AI and HPC to practical problems in transport systems.
GreenShift is designed for professionals, graduates, start-ups, companies, and public authorities working in transport, mobility, engineering, data science, and digital technologies. It is intended for anyone who wants to use advanced computing, AI, and data-driven methods to develop more efficient, intelligent, and sustainable transport solutions.
Sign up for occasional updates on new courses, application timelines, events and case studies that show how AI and HPC are reshaping transport and mobility across Europe.
